Job Posting - Records Analyst

The job posting below represents an exciting professional opportunity in the fastest growing city in the country. Henderson is preparing to open a Development Services Center to provide one-stop permitting, incorporate electronic workflow management for permitting and inspections, and allow internet transactions. This Center will incorporate a satellite operation of the City Archives and Records Division which will provide records services to the various agencies involved in the Center, and reference services to all City agencies and the public.

The person chosen for this position will play a major role in assuring that Center services, including all their electronic/e-commerce aspects, meet recordkeeping requirements; and will manage the provision of reference services to internal and external customers, including developing analog/digital interfaces and the provision of desk-top electronic delivery of text and graphic materials.

Henderson provides a very desirable working and living environment. The City operates on a 4/10 week, so every weekend is at least a three-day one. The cost of living is about a 1/3 less than SoCal, with new three bedroom homes available in the mid-100s. There is no state income tax. The city has a national award winning parks and recreation system. And nearby are Lake Mead and Valley of Fire State Park. Las Vegas airport provides frequent (and usually economically priced) flights to anywhere in the country.

The City is very supportive of professional development and seeks to create model programs. In terms of both professional interest and compensation, I would encourage serious consideration of this opening. I would be happy to address questions by any of the means given in my signature block which I will append below the official job posting:
