Re: TEACHING LIVING HISTORY

Thanks to all for the interesting comments about state history and living
or public history efforts for kids. We have these in Colorado too. My
question was about state-law requirements for college level history.
There is a disconnect between the way teachers make history fun and
interesting for some elementary students and we college instructors seem
to have to start from scratch with 19-year-olds.

All of these ideas are good fodder for the federal programs that may
evolve.

I do appreciate this listserv!
