Re: Appropriateness of Columbine Speech on the Archives Listserv

While I respect Sharon's right to have opinions, this is not the place where
these views should be heard. This listserv has a mission "to provide a venue for
the discussion of all aspects of the theory and practice of the archival
profession." This should not be come as a surprise. Subscribers to the list have
agreed to "abide by these terms of participation; to restrict their messages to
the scope of the list."

I obtained this information from our terms of participation for the list, which
was updated on August 4, 2000.
