CD-ID Compact Disk Identification Labels

Hi

I recently came across this product from a company called Laserite.
They print up donut-shaped labels that fit on the inner ring of a CD.
They add library name, address, phone number etc. and disk ID info to
the label.

Two questions: has anyone had any experience with these labels and what
are the archival implications of an adhesive backed label on a CD that
holds high resolution archival scans? The label is obviously applied to
the top of the CD, and covers an area that is in any case, non-data bearing.

Thanks for giving me your thoughts on this.
