Reporting our cities' public library users' requests for information to other agencies.

Another of ways BPL President Bernie Margolis'
bmargolis@bpl.org delegated Operations Director
Ruth Kowal rkowal@bpl.org abridges the rights of public
library users is the reporting of users' requests for
library information to the city law department
corporation counsel office even for requests that are
not FOI.

Public library users and public library personnel
should be able to use our cities' public libraries
without the reporting of their use to other agencies.

Should rights be denied because our cities' public
library executives feel public library users are
making unfair requests for information the officials
do not happen to like providing?...

Intellectual Freedom Committee of Massachusetts Library
Association has not responded as usual. The hypocrites.
