Re: Reasons to wear gloves

To give this a whole different spin, I regularly butt heads with our shop
volunteers who, when they run into a problem on a machine they are
restoring, make tracks (literally) to our collection of manuals and parts
books and then wonder why I yell at them about newly applied grease, oil,
dirt, stains and the like on the pages. One dear soul thought it'd help to
wear gloves - his heavy duty work gloves, which of course mauled the pages
besides applying more gunk. I think (desperately hope?) they're finally
understanding that they are to use either extras or photocopies and not
clean originals.

Best wishes,
