marking photos

I have found that No. 2 pencils work on glossy prints
but not really sharp ones. One day while marking
several hundred photos I conducted my own very
unscientific study. I sharpen them then slightly dull
the end on a regular piece of paper before marking the
photos. I also found I had to sharpen often because
it would become too dull to mark. In all a balancing
act. :)
