Reader/Printer Advice PLUS Advice on How to Handle items you donate to your own archives

Greetings to All Listserv Members,

I am in the process of creating my 2002 budget and, being a new archives,
there are many things this institution needs. Among them, is a
microfilm/microfiche reader printer for our research room. I can't find them
listed in any of the catalogues I have...so my question to the list is who
makes and/or sells them?
My husband and I went through our personal/home library and discovered a
number of books and catalogues that we no longer want to own but plan to
donate to our own repository. As I am in charge of writing the "Thank you
for your donation..." letters I wondered whether any of you could advise me
as to the wording/legality of a "Thank you" letter I can send to myself.
Any advice will be gratefully received.

   Sincerely,
   Elayne Goyette, Archivist
The National Civil War Museum (Harisburg, PA)
