Research Question

Hello All and Happy Friday!

We are currently doing research on the Mexican National laborers, also known
as Braceros, during the 1940s (specifically 1942-1946). Does anyone have
any information regarding this program? I would greatly appreciate any
assistance.

Here are some of the agencies that were involved:
*       U.S. Department of State
*       U.S. Department of Agriculture
*       Farm Security Administration
*       War Manpower Commission
*       Farm Placement Service
*       Office of Employment Security
*       Railroad Retirement Board
*       Agricultural Extension Services
*       California Farm Production Council
* Any of 32 U.S. railroads, including the Southern Pacific RR, the
Santa Fe RR and the Pennsylvania RR
* Farm Associations such as the California Fruit Growers

Thanks so much!
