Re: Photograph paper



Thanks to everyone for the helpful information! I now have the Yahoo
information on the photohist list/club, and information about the
preservation/conservation list. It appears not many people have much info.
on the photo paper. I agree with Ellen, that it's a combo. of the paper &
what's on it, but I'm still curious. :)

Ellen provided the web addy for Wilhelm Research, but it won't come up on my
computer (is it just me?). I have wanted to get to this site for a while,
but couldn't seem to find a connection when I did a Google search. Could
anyone help just one more time? Private replies are ok.

It's not just the paper to be concerned with - it's the combination of ink
and paper.  The generally recognized expert in digital and regular photo
preservation research and information is Wilhelm Imaging Research Inc.  It
"conducts research and issues reports on the image permanence of digital
