Re: Preservation negatives



My thoughts?  If it's at all feasible, get a new photo lab.  You need to be
working with someone who understands & will be responsive to your needs.

If you do go this route, when investigating labs, sit down with them
beforehand & explain very clearly what you want; I'd even suggest, if you
can, getting one person that you talk to all the time.  That will keep you
from having to explain time & again what you want & why.  Scanned versions
will simply not do as a preservation medium, and you're better off finding a
lab that will do what you want.
