Call for Presenters/Papers, MAC 2002

Greetings:

I am a member of the Midwest Archives Conference Program Committee for the Spring 2002 meeting in Minneapolis, MN (May 2-4,2002).  I am tasked with the responsibility of organizing the following two sessions for the conference and soliciting paper proposals:

1. Educating with Primary Documents

A review of programs and strategies used by archivists to educate users in basic historical research methods with primary sources.

2. Electronic Records: A Challenge to the Cox-Bearman-Duranti Model

As the title indicates, this session will present ideas and programs that challenge the Cox-Bearman-Duranti model of electronic records management.  This session could also include papers that examine the possible negative consequences of the model to the archival profession.

If you are interested in presenting a paper or know of someone with expertise in these areas, please respond to me directly and not to the entire list.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
Marcus
