DIGITAL ARCHIVING AND EDITING OF BUSINESS RECORDS

Hi Folks,

Can anyone out there recommend to me what kind of OCR software I
would need to scan business documents so they can be edited, indexed
and archived? We are trying to go to a paperless office. We would like

to be able to take paper documents, scan them into the computer and
put them in a database for indexing and archiving. But we need to be
able to edit them as well, as some are reports that we need to fill out
with
data the customer requests.

We are hoping to replace our file cabinets with stacks of records on
cdr,
and keep at least ten years worth of records.

Thanks!
Sharon Centanne
