PETITION TO KEEP FORMER MAYOR GIULIANI'S OFFICIAL PAPERS PUBLIC
UPDATE: PRESS CONFERENCE AT CITY HALL THIS WEDNESDAY, 12 PM Dear Petitioners: We are going to present our petition regarding the Giuliani papers at a press conference, on the steps of City Hall, this Wednesday, February 6, at 12:00 noon. If you're in the vicinity, and would like to help make an impressive display for the TV and print media, we'd love to have you join us. It should last no more than half an hour. Tell the police you're there for the Archivists and Historians press conference. In any event, thanks for s! igning on. We'll keep you informed as to developments. PS: As we won't be printing out the final list until tomorrow afternoon, and we're now up to 882 names, if you could cajole someone else into signing on, maybe we could top the 1,000 mark! Ask them to sign up here.PPS: You might be interested in a New York Observer editorial on the affair: http://www.observer.com/pages/editorial.aspMike Wallace, Director, Gotham Center for New York City History
