ARSC Annual Meeting--2nd call for papers

ARSC 2002 Annual Conference, Santa Barbara, California

Call for program proposals

The Association for Recorded Sound Collections invites submissions of
program proposals for its annual meeting in Santa Barbara, California, May
8-11, 2002. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 22, 2002. Proposals are
requested on the form to be found at

<http://nico.library.ucsb.edu/arsc/arscform.html>

We invite proposals for sessions which you think would be of interest to
our community of collectors, historians, musicians, preservationists, and
archivists.

This is the first ARSC annual conference to take place on the west coast
for many years. Presentations focusing on recording in California and the
west are encouraged and will be given special consideration.

Planners of the conference are considering the inclusion of parallel
sessions at this conference.

In view of how close the deadline is, and the unreliability of USPS
mail in the Washington, D.C. area, please e-mail your submission to
Sam Brylawski (ARSC Program Chair) at sbry@loc.gov.

Thank you. And please excuse the cross posting.
