Nevada - RFP's

The Nevada State Library and Archives has issued three RFP's in support of
an NHPRC funded project to improve legislation related to electronic records
(ER) policy. The goals of this initiative are: 1) Develop electronic record
keeping legislation for the 2003 session that protects the integrity of the
state's electronic record systems and establish a model methodology that can
be used to improve electronic record keeping by other states. 2) Foster a
spirit of cooperation between all branches and levels of Nevada government
and facilitate a consensus building process crucial to the success of
electronic government initiatives. The RFP's -full text available at:
http://dmla.clan.lib.nv.us/docs/nsla/rfp/ - are to obtain consultant
services for three statewide electronic records summits. The first will
focus on Administrative Responsibility and Organizational Viability for ER,
the second on Financial Sustainability and System Security for ER, the third
on Technological Suitability and Procedural Accountability of ER. All
interested and qualified parties are encouraged to submit the necessary
proposal package to the address in the RFP's. The deadline for submission
is March 1, 2002.
