Re: Cold Storage question

I'd be worried about flucations in power and even power failures which
could cause problems. It's often the back-and-forth of temp and RH
changes that causes the most problems. Will you have a back-up power
source? (On my home Sears (Kenmore) refrigerator-freezer, there is a
switch to control condensation on the *outside* during humid weather - 99%
of the time in Hawai'i. Don't know if this affects anything inside
the unit.) Aloha.

The planned settings are about 30 degrees Fahrenheit and a relative humidity of 40%. My question concerns the control of the RH. I doubt a standard freezer unit purchased from Sears will have humidity control. If the RH is too high will lowering the temperature be enough to get the RH under control? Does anyone know about humidity control systems for freezer units?
