Re: Clara Ashe

Mr. Baker,

I am by no means an expert at African-American
genealogy, but recently I've had the opportunity to
delve into that arena of research by helping some
African-Americans in my community begin their journey
through genealogy.

A search on google.com turned up nothing, so I went to
rootsweb.com, ancestry.com, and genealogy.com and
still found nothing. Perhaps you will want to consult
a find organization of people that work really hard to
get a slave genealogy recorded. They are the
International Society for Sons and Daughters of Slave
Ancestry and their website is:

http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilissdsa/

They might have information on her and her family.
