Posters' storage

Hello to all partners in the archives world,

I think that for the most of you, posters have been always a difficult
material to work with. I know there are many things researches have
discover to conserve and storage them, but the reality of the situation is
that it is not always possible to apply every rule because of the
circumstances of use, the resources we need to digitize a collection, etc.

That's why I'm asking you for help. Could you give me please some advice to
solve this problem :

Which method is the best to storage posters that at the time they need to be
conserved need to be used and are not digitized? Is it in a flat cabinet or
is it in rolls (of mylar for example)?

Thanks a lot!
