Re: exhibiting daguerreotypes
Try Library of Congress Prints & Photos, Daguerreotypes - About
http://lcweb2.loc.gov/pp/dagabt.html it has a big bibliography,
and CoOL, Conservation Online, choose [Search all CoOL documents] at
the very bottom; they are using google as the search engine for their
site now, very cool <grin>

From: David Smolen <dsmolen@NHHISTORY.ORG>
Subject: exhibiting daguerreotypes
Fellow Archivists: is anyone aware of any guidelines regarding the
exhibition of daguerreotypes? For example, what is the maximum amount of
time for a dag, that is in good condition, to be put on display?
Thanks for any help that can be provided on this topic,
