About EcoAccessEcoAccess helps you find and share environmental information online, providing access to the knowledge you need to make informed decisions about environmental issues. Our web site is a free public service run by volunteers.
I founded EcoAccess because I believe that the best way to protect our environment is to share knowledge. Free markets and democracy work best when we -- the public -- are well informed and engaged in decision making. EcoAccess helps you make informed environmental decisions by providing access to practical and objective information. You can help collect, organize, compare, verify and publish useful environmental knowledge. If you care about the future, learning what's happening to the environment is a great way to invest your volunteer time. Starting in North Carolina's Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle, we are building a model for environmental education, volunteer involvement, and information delivery that can be replicated in other communities across North Carolina and around the world. So whether you're interested in North Carolina's air quality» or our zoo» -- or anything in between -- I hope you'll join me in making EcoAccess grow. Sincerely, Fred Wilson Horch, EcoAccess Founder |
