Volunteer Profile: Marcello Quaiatti

Marcello is our "all purpose" volunteer, helping to design our web site, setting up our computers and tracking down scientific names of plants. Marcello has been an indispensable asset to EcoAccess.

He writes:

I graduated from business school in Sao Paulo, Brazil and worked ten years in finance, before coming to Durham. My last job was in a publishing company in Sao Paulo, a leader in the publishing market with more than one hundred different magazines.

I have been here in Durham for nine months and this has been a great experience. I have had the opportunity to meet amazing people and learn so much with them. I came to North Carolina to prepare myself to start a master degree next year. Another project for the next year will be a walk of 800 kilometers in the "San Thiago de Compostela" route, through Spain, almost 35 days of walking.

Finally I want to say that work in this project, helping Ecoaccess re-launch its web site has been a very nice opportunity.
