Ibogaine and Iboga are both felonies to posesses or sell. I
understand that a tropical plant commonly known as "Carnation of India",
available at many large nurseries (at least her in Texas) contains the
same or similar alkaloids. I would give you the latin binomial, but I
can't find the refernce material that has it listed. It is something
like Tabernamontana divericaria also listing as Evrita divericaria, but I
doubt I have the spelling just right. I have also not been able to find
any info about how it compares against Iboga in human toxicology (an
important consideration); that, is maybe it is effective but is it safe?
If anyone has any info about medicinal/toxicological properties of
"Carnation of India" (it is a small tropical tree that looks something
like a Gardinia), I would appreciate that info. All I have just lists it
as a substitute for Iboga.
