Re:S.1035 On A Roll (Was NY TIMES SLAMS ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE ON FRONT PAGE
The Times obviously removed the articles from their web site because
they received major _FLACK_ from justifiably pissed off people all over
the country who don't appreciate yellow journalism of this sort. David
Wright (who's ludicrous objection to my posting a NY Times article in
usenet appears below) objected to my posting the article here because
he is obviously a member of the quack organization called the so called
"National Council Against Health Fraud" and they start foaming at the
mouth when anyone shines the light of truth on their lies. He stated in
a previous post that due to the venomous things I post, he doesn't
believe a word I say, which is just fine with me! We just picked up
another co sponsor on S.1035 since I started my Usenet campaign.
Senator Mikulski just signed on due to overwhelming pressure from
Maryland constituents who were pissed off by the NY Times articles and
called her office. Other Labor Committee members still haven't seen the
light, however. Kindly call Senators Coats, Kassebaum, Kennedy,
Wellstone, Ashcroft, Gregg, DeWine, Frist, and Gorton to urge them to
cosponsor S.1035 The Access to Medical Treatment Act. All can be
reached toll free via 1-800-962-3524, the US Capital Switchboard. The
Senate Hearing on S.1035 is expected to occurr shortly after the July
4th recess- perhaps around July 8th. It would be great if we could
flood them with calls prior to the hearing.
