HI . . .
Well, maybe there ARE lots of spring wildflowers at Hilton Pond
Center for Piedmont Natural History--except, as this week's photo
essay reveals--many of them are on Eastern Redbud trees.
Details are at the Center's website. Go to http://www.hiltonpond.org
and click on the logo for "This Week at Hilton Pond," selecting the
week of 8-14 March 2001.
Included are weekly bird banding totals (including recaptures of a
male North Cardinal who's rather ancient), along with close-up photos
of a male House Finch.
