HI . . .
Slow work on grant proposals and lots of time running mist nets kept
me from updating the weekly report from Hilton Pond Center for
Piedmont Natural History. A thousand pardons. :-)
To see some stunning photographs of birds banded locally on
International Migratory Bird Day 2001, go to
http://www.hiltonpond.org . Click on the logo for "This Week at
Hilton Pond" and select the week of 05/01/01.
Also included is a list of recaptured birds that were banded in previous years.
If you're interested in this sort of thing, please consider joining
the Nature Study Network to chat with others who are also
enthusiastic about natural history.
Happy nature Watching!
