Cliff Swallows nesting at Lake Wheeler

While kayaking on the lake Saturday, Tracy and I found one pair of Cliff
Swallows nesting among the Barn Swallows under the Penny Road bridge. The
nest is behind the second trestle from the west and built on top of an old
Barn Swallow nest. Also noted was a Caspian Tern and the common summer
residents including several Prothonotary Warblers in the area where Swift
Creek enters the lake.
