SW Horry Cty, 12-13-01

    While doing field work in the area of Bucksport, SC today, I happened to
notice a few birds:

Red-tailed
Am. Kestrel
Black-bellied Plover - 1
Killdeer
Rock Dove
Mourning Dove
Barred Owl - heard
Belted Kingfisher
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Y-b Sapsucker
Downy Wp.
N. Flicker
Pileated
E. Phoebe
Loggerhead Shrike
Blue-headed Vireo - 2
Blue Jay
Am. Crow
Car. Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
W-b Nuthatch
B-h Nuthatch
Car. Wren
House Wren
G-c Kinglet
R-c Kinglet
E. Bluebird
Hermit Thrush
Am. Robin
Gray Catbird

Am. Pipit - the largest flock I've seen in Horry Cty., approx. 300 birds.
Flushed from the field and southward by the Harrier.
