Spent this morning at the road to Colonel Kolb's tomb, off of 15/401
just north of Society Hill. One of Barbara Gearhart's good finds. There
was a fair amount of activity, but mostly uncooperative. I did spish up
a very cooperative Barred Owl and there were a number of very vocal
White-eyed Vireos. It was most interesting to watch and listen to
lingering singing Purple Finches in close proximity to an early, singing
Yellow-throated Warbler.
