Hilton Pond 05/08/02 (Kingsnakes)

HI . . .

Although we don't see them often at Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont
Natural History, Common Kingsnakes do inhabit the property. We caught
a nice specimen this week and got some close-up photos for the
current installment of "This Week at Hilton Pond."

To view the photo essay about this snake-eating snake, visit the week
of 8-14 May 2002 by clicking on
http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek020508.html .

There's also the usual list of banded and recaptured birds, plus
comparative mug shots of male and female Magnolia Warblers.

Please forward this message to folks you know who share our interest
in nature. :-)

Happy Spring, and Happy Nature Watching!
