Black-and-white in NC

Had a female (imm?) Black-and-white Warbler on my property in east central
Orange County, NC, this morning (7/7/02). Will Cook's checklist describes
this species as rare in the Triangle during July. I've never seen any
evidence of this species breeding on my property (though I do see them in
migration), so this is probably a post-breeding dispersal
individual. Quite a surprise.
