Migrants at Townville (SC)

Bing Somers and I had a few interesting migrants this morning (4 August) at
Townville (Anderson County, SC).

Passerines: American Redstart; Northern Parula. (Both were near the bridge
on Fork School Road.)

Shorebirds: Pectoral Sandpiper; Solitary Sandpiper; Spotted Sandpiper;
Least Sandpiper. (All were at the ponds at Dobbins Farm.)

On the edge of Lake Hartwell we had, among lots of Great Egrets, a Little
Blue Heron.

In six years of record-keeping, the redstart and the parula were the
earliest I've had at this location.
