Egyptian Goose

For the folks in the Greenville (S. C.) area, there was an Egyptian Goose on
the Lake at Furman University Friday afternoon. It was located near the foot
bridge behind the girls dorm. It had a beige head and neck with large rufous
eye patches. It's bill was flesh colored with black trim. It's body was
primarily beige with black-tipped light gray wings and rufous tail feathers.
A really strange looking bird. I identified it in the Exotics section of
Peterson's Field Guide.
