On the birdy back roads in to work this morning, as I stopped at several
small creek bottoms on my way in, I heard Prairie Warbler, Yellow-throated
Vireo, and Hooded Warbler, as well as the now expected Northern Parulas and
Yellow-throated Warblers. That singing was accompanied by the background
chatter of the Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and the bright counterpoint of the
Carolina Wren.
