Went out early afternoon to get bird seed at Wal-Mart and decided to bird
the Heathwood Hall area. The highlight of the trip was 20-30 Mississippi
Kites flying over the fields near the river. Others were:
Black Vulture
Ingido Buntings
Eastern Kingbirds (by the score)
Yellow-breasted Chat
Yellow Warbler
Eastern Bluebird
Red-winged Blackbird
Barn Swallows
Purple Martins
Northern Rough-winged Swallows
Carolina Wrens
Cardinals
European Starlings
I've seen Bobolinks and Painted Buntings out there but not this year (so
far).
