Watauga Birds

Hello everyone,

The birds are here so come on up this weekend and find 'em! The last three
days have yielded over 95 species in Watauga County alone including
Bobolinks at Valle Crucis, Least Sandpipers, Solitaries and Spotties, and
the glamour birds are here in good numbers (Scarlet Tanagers, RGBGs, and
Baltimore Orioles) Most of the Flycatchers are back now including Leasts
everywhere and Acadians (maybe Willows and cross your fingers and Alder by
Saturday). Twenty two species of warblers including the first Ceruleans of
the year on the Hotline today.

So clean those lenses and come on up! And like Lori and Dwayne said, the
leaves aren't out yet so warblers are as easy as they ever get.
