Brickhouse Rd., Durham sightings

Birders,

A couple of hours of birding the Brickhouse Rd. area in Durham, NC this
morning produced a few sightings of at least moderate interest:

Tree Swallow - 1 pair - investigating cavities in dead trees at the
Beaverdam Impoundment

Swamp Sparrow - 1 - fairly late bird in a wet field

Savannah Sparrow - 3 - also fairly late, edge of bare ground in the
disked fields

Also, a pair of Bobolinks had been sighted an hour earlier, but I was
unable to relocate them. Lots of chats, Blue Grosbeaks, Summer Tanagers,
Orchard Orioles, Com. Yellowthroats, etc.

Good birding.
