Re: Scissor-tailed flycatcher

This would certainly seem to be the year for a Scissor-tailed. I've
lost track but there have been at least 6 (and probably a few more)
sightings of Scissor-taileds in TN recently -- 2 confirmed breeding
in West TN; 2 at traditional nesting sites but no confirmed nests yet
(one near Nashville, one near Chattanooga) and 2 brief sightings of
single birds including one in West TN and one in Polk Co. which is
in extreme SE TN and borders NC and Georgia. There have also been
several reports from traditional nest sites in N. Alabama.

Good luck, hope you get a pair.
