<This would certainly seem to be the year for a Scissor-tailed.
The 5/21 Georgia RBA (see <http://www.gos.org/rbas.html> reports that the
Scissor-Tailed Flycatchers first seen on 5/4 are still building a nest on
one of the cross arms of a power line pole located south of McDonough
(which is south of Atlanta). Seeing the male gathering and transporting
materials up to the nest provided quite a thrill for someone (me) who has
never birded west of the Mississippi.
Incidentally, an earlier RBA stated that this is not the first
Scissor-tailed nesting event in Georgia.
