Carolinabirders,
Jeff Lewis and the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher were waiting for me when I
arrived at 11:18 a.m. The bird was seen on Shields Commissary Road. From
903 take Shields Commissary Road to Norfleet. The bird was seen 0.4 mile
BEFORE the intersection of Shields Commissary Road and River Road (also
known as Norfleet on the map). It was perching on (and flycatching from)
an electric wire that was along a tree line perpendicular to Shields
Commissary Road. WOW!!!!! We also saw Mississippi Kites off in the
distance from the roadside adjacent to the pastures at Ventosa Plantation.

A.K.A LUCKY BIRDER
Thanks for all of the well wishes!
