Sargassum at Myrtle Beach




In reply to John Fussell, the local paper here in the Midlands of SC had a
picture last week or the week before of a beach in the Myrtle Beach area
covered in Sargassum.  The caption carefully pointed out that Sargassum is
stinky but not harmful.  I guess "stinky" is in the nose of the beholder.
I for one was curious about the birds it might bring in with it.
