On Friday, 23 November, Allen Bryan saw the following at Lake
Mattamuskeet:
male Eurasian Wigeon--out from causeway, west side, near the
southernmost bridge
White Pelicans-- 2 birds at the east end of the lake--from Waupoppin
Canal Road. Allen said that because of the drought the impoundments are
empty and the road going in to Waupoppin Canal Road is not currently
closed to vehicles. He said that up to 4 White Pelicans had been seen
before Friday.
