Western Kingbirds still on Roanoke Island

Two Western Kingbirds were still at Fort Raleigh on Roanoke Island as of
4:00p.m. saturday. I watched them for about an hour and a half. The
yellow-rumps were really harrassing them; almost every time a Kingbird would
fly a yellow-rump would attack. A couple of robins didn't show them much
respect, either. They seem to know that those two yellow birds aren't
supposed to be here. Hopefully, the area's local accipiters will NOT pay
their respects!
Also, a hummer showed up at my feeder today, which prompted a quick
cleaning and sugar-water change! It looks like your basic Outer Banks winter
hummer, i.e. a female rubythroat.
	Cheers!
