Rufous Hummer at Waynesville NC

Thanks to a tip from fellow nature-writer Don Hendershot, we visited Waynesville NC (Haywood County) this morning (24 Nov 2002) to band an adult female Rufous Hummingbird.

A description of the trapping and banding results and photos are at http://www.hiltonpond.org/RufousBanding021124Main.html .
