The following are highlights of the 3 hour Wednesday birdwalk at Charleston
County's Caw Caw Park in Ravenel, SC led by Perry Nugent at 8:30 am. For

56 species were seen and or heard. The most interesting were; 30 Hooded
Mergansers, 1 first year Bald Eagle, 2 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 1 Red-shouldered
Hawk, 2 Red-tailed Hawks, 1 Merlin, 2 Common Snipe, 1 Blue-headed Vireo, 1
Orange-crowned Warbler, 5 Pine Warblers, 1 Palm Warbler, and 1 Rusty
Blackbird.
