A female Rufous Hummer came to my neighbor's feeders on Dec. 31. (We were
away for the holidays for 2 weeks). Today she was at my feeders, but I
could not tell if she was banded. I am anxious to know if it is the same
female hummer we had last year...Rusty Trump bannded her. Maybe I will get
a better look tomorrow...she is very shy...even the other birds feeding on
my deck startle her.
I am thrilled that the Hermit thrush still comes up to the deck peanubutter
suet feeder too.
