Feb. 24 Chapel Hill Bird Club

Howdy!

You're invited to join us for another fun and informative Chapel Hill
Bird Club meeting
Monday, February 24 for the program, "Colonial Nesting Birds."

Dr. Lynn Moseley, professor and Chair of the Biology Department at
Guilford College in Greensboro, has a Ph.D. in Zoology, with a
specialization in Animal Behavior from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her program on
"Colonial Nesting Birds" will describe the advantages and the challenges
of coloniality. She will also give examples of different groups of birds
that exhibit colonial nesting, and discuss the factors that select for
this rather unusual type of social behavior.

Refreshments at 7:15 pm; the meeting starts at 7:30 pm at Binkley
Baptist Church on Willow Drive on 15-501 in Chapel Hill, near University
Mall.

See ya there! Happy birding!
