The following are highlights of the 3 hour Wednesday morning birdwalk at
Charleston County's Caw Caw Park on US 17 south in Ravenel, SC led by Perry
Nugent at 8:30 am. A small fee is charged. For more information type

59 species were seen and/or heard. The most interesting were; 1 Osprey, 1
adult Bald Eagle, 1 Northern Harrier, 7 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Dunlin, 30
Common Snipe, 1 adult and 1 baby Horned Owl on nest, 1 Barred Owl singing, 2
Hairy Woodpeckers, 1 Loggerhead Shrike, 1 White-eyed Vireo seen singing, 1
Blue-headed Vireo, 2 Pine Warblers, 8 Common Yellowthroats, and 15 Seaside
Sparrows singing
