The following are highlights of the 3 hour Saturday birdwalk at Charleston
County's Caw Caw Park on US 17 south in Ravenel, SC led by Perry Nugent at
8:30 am. A small fee is charged. For more information type www.ccprc.com

48 species were seen and/or heard on a cloudy rainy day. The most
interesting were; 1 adult Bald Eagle on nest, 1 Great Horned Owl on nest
there may be a baby ), 1 Hairy Woodpecker, 10 Hermit Thrushes, 2
Blue-headed Vireos, 4 pine warblers, and 1 Common Yellowthroat.
