Having been gone for the past ten days for a triennial family reunion
in Valle Crucis NC, I've fallen a bit behind with my installments of
"This Week at Hilton Pond."
However, if you like 'possums, it may have been worth waiting on the
photo essay for the week of 8-15 June 2003. For some detailed
information about and illustrations of North America's only native
marsupial, please visit http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek030608.html.
As always, there's an account of all birds banded and recaptured
during the period, plus a link to the actual vacation week at
http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek030615.html.
Happy Nature Watching,
BILL
